’s largest exhibit, a place where tunas and sharks speed past, sardines swarm in huge, glittering
schools

swim lazily across the 90-foot window. Nearby, colorful puffins await their next meal, and brilliant jellies pulse through the water.

The Monterey Bay Aquarium, acclaimed as one of the world’s finest, has attracted more than 47 million visitors and has won national awards for its exhibits, its architecture, and its cultural, educational and economic impact. The aquarium is located on historic Cannery Row in Monterey and is open daily except Christmas Day. Hours of operation vary by season.
