Richard Burton "Rich" Cronin was an American singer and songwriter. He was the primary singer and songwriter for the pop group LFO.
Cronin was one of the founders of the pop group LFO. Group breakout hit Summer Girls, by Cronin in 1999, was No. 3 on Billboard's Hot 100 and # 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Sales chart for six weeks. Cronin grew up in Kingston, Massachusetts and attended Sacred Heart High School, class of 1993. He was of Irish and Swedish descent.
He has also formed a rap duo with Doug Ray (former Bad Ronald called Loose cannons. They released an album titled "Life Goes On." Band performed shows from 2006-2008.He was later moved for further treatment at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Cambridge, Massachusetts.
