Jacob Tame born March 15, 1985 in Lexington, Kentucky is an American football tight end for the Indianapolis Colts in the National Football League. He played collegiately for the University of Kentucky Wildcats. He was also appointed to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for outstanding work in the classroom.
Tame ended his career as Kentucky's all-time top pass-catching tight end and second in the history of all SEC tight ends with 133 catches for 1,417 yards. He was named the SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year and named first-team Academic All-America squad by the College Sports Information Board in America.
Structure was prepared by the Indianapolis Colts in the fourth round in 2008 NFL Draft. He and the Colts agreed to a four-year deal with undisclosed terms, 23 July 2008. Tame has been a backup for Dallas Clark and always going to play either in pre-season, or the latest games in the regular season.
