Makhaya Ntini was born 6 July 1977 in the Eastern Cape Province is a former South African footballer, who was the first ethnic black player to play for the South African team. He played for Chennai Super Kings in Indian Premier League.
Ntini came from humble beginnings, where he tended cattle in his home village of Mdingi in the Eastern Cape. Test match was at home in Cape Town against Sri Lanka and their first wicket was Aravind De Silva, there would be one of his two wickets in the game.
Ntini returned to the South African side for the Sharjah tournament in 2000. Ntini has established itself as South Africa's premier fast bowler and one of the leading fast Bowling in the world. Ntini dislodged Mohammed Sami to take their 300: e test wicket in his 74: e test.
